Virginia R. Slocum, 59, formerly of Andover, passed away Friday (Aug. 19, 2011) at Wellsville Manor Care Center, surrounded by family.
Virginia was born on Feb. 18, 1952 in Wellsville to William C. and Bernadine E. (Champlin) Slocum. She worked for PWI, Inc. in Wellsville for many years.
Virginia is survived by two brothers, Edward (Sue) Slocum of Little Genessee and David (Cheryl) Slocum of Allentown; two sisters, Ella (Fred) Stives of Bolivar and Karen Slocum of Wellsville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a brother, William F. Slocum.
Virginia loved her collection of horses and working word searches.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at Baker-Swan Funeral Home in Andover where the funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with Rev.
