Susan G. Husner

Susan G. Husner, 81, passed away on Saturday (September 27, 2025) at Wellsville Manor Care Center following a lengthy illness.

Susan was born on March 15, 1944 in Rochester to Harold and Dorothy (Acker) Warren. She was a payroll clerk for Rochester Psychiatric Center for 29 years, retiring in 2004.

Susan is survived by two daughters, Debra (Win) Jacob of Wellsville and Kelly (Michael) Macartney of Rochester; one son, Steven Husner of Wellsville; two sisters, Judy Warren of Wellsville and Dorothy Tiede of Wolcott; eight grandchildren, Nichole Burdick, Loren Jacob, Paul Jacob, Zachary Jacob, Laura (Jake Smith) O’Dell, Kyle O’Dell, Josh O’Dell and Angelana Husner; and several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Rick Husner and two brothers, Richard Warren and William Warren.

Susan loved listening to 50’s music on the local WJQZ radio station with favorites like Freddy Fender and Elvis. Susan was active with the Office for the Aging as a Meals on Wheels driver, serving with her daughter Debra for 7 years. Together, they also delighted in surfing the area garage sales.

Per Susan’s wishes, there will be no prior visitation. A private Celebration of Life ceremony is planned for a date to be determined.
