Richard Allen Warren

October 21, 1948 - March 17, 2021

WELLSVILLE – Richard Allen Warren, 72 passed away on Wednesday (March 17, 2021) at Demay Living Center in Newark.

Richard was born in Rochester on October 21, 1948 to Harold L. and Dorothy A. (Acker) Warren. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1969-1970. Richard worked in construction as a roofer.

He is survived by his sons, Richard (Trisha) Warren, William (Ginger) Warren and Anthony Warren; his sisters, Judy Warren of Wellsville, Dorothy Tiede of Wolcott and Susan Husner of Wellsville; five grandchildren, Zachary Warren, Tyler Warren, Justin Warren, Jeremy Warren and Jordan Warren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by a brother, William Warren.

He enjoyed cooking and had his specialties such as homemade bean soup. Richard was an avid reader. He also spent his free time building model cars, but primarily he found fulfillment in his work.

Memorial Service:
March 31, 2021 – Wednesday – 11:00 AM

​Due to Covid19 concerns, no prior visitation will be held. There will be a graveside service with full military honors in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellsville.
Arrangements are under the direction of Baker-Swan Funeral Home in Wellsville/Scio.
